Max Tormey is an illustrator from Dublin, who spends any free time he has clogging up his sketchbooks. He is passionate about graphic novels and book illustration.
He has done multiple illustrations for the Irish Independent's New Irish Writing section, regularly exhibits at the Dublin Comic Arts Festival, and has had his animation featured at the Bevrijdingsdag festival in Groningen. His degree show project, ‘Forgotten Letters’, is archived in the National Irish Visual Arts Library.
He has recently graduated from NCAD Illustration and is excited to see what comes next.
